Nestled in the Appalachian Mountain Range. The Deer sits in a quiet area between Pine Mountain and Warm Springs. An hour and a half from Downtown Atlanta, 45 mins from Columbus, Ga (home of Ft. Moore) and Auburn, AL.

Are second time staying at the cabin and we loved it. Plenty of room for family and still places for privacy. Fire pit makes for a fun social setting - we will be coming back!

My spouse & I stayed in the middle unit, Bear, back in Jan 2022. It was magical and one of our favorite vacas ever because it was so beautiful, peaceful, and cozy. We said then how fun it would be to rent the whole house with a big group and in December 2024, we did just that! We celebrated Christmas at the cabin with my family: 6 adults, 2 kids, and 3 dogs. The layout was perfect for us to have a shared space, but also our own units for privacy when we wanted it. Having multiple kitchens was great for Christmas cooking, too! We were pleasantly surprised by the Christmas decor, including multiple small trees and garland. We appreciated the two fireplaces & jetted tubs in each unit and we made use of the outdoor firepit. We went horseback riding and to Fantasy in Lights, both amazing! But everyone’s favorite was a drive-thru African safari ride about 15 min away. Fun for all ages! We will be back again (and possibly even make Christmas at the cabin a tradition)!

This is a very large, impressively designed multi rooms, yet still offering each family privacy within, cabin. Our very large group had more than enough space to rest and not be on top of one another. Bathrooms and hot water were delightfully plentiful! We enjoyed your fire pit and tranquility in these hills. Finding this available rental in this small town was our blessing. We hope to be back here again.
